How to get started

  • Step 1

    Initial Consultation

    Clients are provided with information that set the stage for a successful mediation process by ensuring that all parties understand the procedure and are aligned on the goals and expectations. In particular , we gather background information about the dispute and identify goals and desired outcomes before confirming the suitability for mediation. 

  • Step 2

    Arrangement of Mediation

    With the clients’ agreement, Australian Mediation Partners will arrange mediation scheduling and logistics and issue invitations to participants outlining the ground rules and confidential nature of the mediation.

  • Step 3

    Working Towards Agreement

    During the mediation, we will assist the parties to identify the matters of concern, carefully confirming the agreed outcome which will then be drafted into Heads of Agreement and dispute resolution clauses for endorsement by the parties.

  • Belinda Eyers

    Belinda’s career as a private and public lawyer has spanned more years than she cares to recall.

    Belinda brings not only an extensive knowledge of Farm and business succession planning, Wills and Estates, Commercial and employment disputes but also understands the importance of allowing parties to reach their negotiated resolutions in order to save time, emotional stress and of course the financial burden of drawn out litigation.

    She brings with her a wealth of experience in the areas of contract, succession and property law.

    Belinda is a farmer and has often assisted community groups in dealing with government on matters of planning and environment. She has a particular interest in local government.

    Belinda understands the cost of legal services is prohibitive and can lead to unjust results. Since doing her first mediation training at Bond University in the 1990s she has been committed to assisting parties reach mutually acceptable solutions.

    An analytical and strategic thinker with effective communication skills she is committed to allowing parties in conflict to resolve their disputes with her professional, thoughtful and confidential facilitation.

  • Ted Kabbout

    Ted Kabbout has extensive experience in small, medium and large scale enterprise locally, nationally and internationally in the fields of education, property, aviation, transportation, tourism and hospitality among others. In addition his commitment to assisting Community and Not For Profit organisations span more than 35 years.

    His roles have involved strategic planning, negotiations, governance, project management, and cross-cultural collaboration in both domestic and international contexts.

    Overall, Ted Kabbout’s extensive experience reflects a robust ability to navigate through diverse and dynamic environments, bringing valuable insights across different sectors and scales of enterprise.
